After spending many years
as the section leader’s quartet of
 First Congregational Church  (FCC) of Kalamazoo, MI,  the Aspire Ensemble officially debuted in 2007. 

In addition to their work at FCC, they have each performed extensively as soloists in the West Michigan region with such groups as Opera Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo Symphony, 
Kalamazoo Bach Festival, Battle Creek Symphony and Kalamazoo Civic Theater.

The group’s name was created by their connection to FCC and one of it’s most easily recognized architectural features – the prominent spire.
